Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently studying abroad. While I hope to have some great experiences staying with people in Europe, I am excited to host people when I come back to the States.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been couch surfing, but never officially through couch surfers. I am looking forward to joining the community.

Interests

I'm an English Literature Major so I like to read. I enjoy reading fantasy for fun, but love diving deep into any good literature.

I like to cook and really enjoy cooking for others. Besides cooking I make my own cheese and will begin experimenting with brewing beer and cider this summer.

I really enjoy camping, hiking, climbing, biking ... anything that allows me to appreciate the outdoors.

Traveling is so much fun. I love exploring new places and meeting interesting people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Swift, Tolkien, Donne, and Pratchett are among my favorite authors. Amber Spyglass, Pyramids, Rule of the Bone, The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao, White Teeth.

Movies: Silence of the Lambs, The English Patient, Shawshank Redemption, Catch me if you Can, The Departed, The Princess Bride, The Jungle Book (Disney), Zoolander, ... and many others!

Radiohead is my favorite band, but I will entertain anything. I don't know much about Classical music, but I love to listen to it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently visited Newgrange in Ireland, which was amazing!

I like to make my own cheese. If you have oranges/juice and milk, I can show you a quick and easy cheese.

I love to cook and am always looking to learn new recipes.
