A native Hoosier, and I love the Midwest. Very fond of the Southeast region, which is where I've recently relocated. I have 2 cats & I love animals.

A few things about me:

-I've lived in Indiana, France, the Dominican Republic, South Carolina and North Carolina.
-I used to volunteer at a wildlife rehab center and got to handle raptors, snakes, rodents, and songbirds!
-I did the classic western U.S. roadtrip in summer 2016 and visited about ten national parks.
-I write and paint and love to see others' artworks!
-I would like to own a small farm one day when I stop moving around so much.

Lots of favorites!

Top books are The Awakening by Kate Chopin, The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde, Play It As It Lays by Joan Didion, & To The Lighthouse by Virginia Woolf. I'm also a huge fantasy nerd: Harry Potter, A Song of Ice and Fire, Wheel of Time, and the Dragonlance series.

Movies: Darjeeling Limited is one of my favorites. Everything is Illuminated by Liev Schreiber is another great one. Love comedies like Super Troopers, Stepbrothers, and Wedding Crashers. And really terrible movies are irresistible, especially when watched with friends.

Music: Gogol Bordello, Beck, Hozier, and Ben Howard are some current favorites. Also love the Black Keys, Amy Winehouse, MSI, and Marilyn Manson.

I went to a packed Black Keys concert in Berlin in 2012 with two friends. It snowed that night -- the first snow we'd seen all year -- and we got to have a pre-show mini snowball fight!
