Why I'm on Couchsurfing

I enjoy meeting local and international people at couch surfing events as well as through surfing or hosting. I am always looking for new people to have adventures with!

I've couchsurfed in Whales, Ireland, Italy, Greece and Poland, and created some unforgettable memories! I could not imagine travelling without it now!

Traveling, waterpolo, biking, unicycling, swing dancing, boldering, salsa, canoe polo, scuba diving, canoeing, camping, caving, climbing, hiking, cross-country skiing, ice skating, snorkeling, beach volleyball, sailing, kayaking, cooking, windsurfing, snow kiting, playing the accordion and musicals.

Music, Movies & Books

- I really enjoy listening to Indie Rock: Beirut, 100 mile house, Forest City Lovers, Joel Plaskett, Dan Mangan, Yann Tiersen, Mumford and Sons, Mother Mother and Andrew Bird just to name a few.
- I'm also a big fan of Jazz/blues music which I mainly listen to when I'm swing dancing.
- I have a soft spot for classic rock as my dad plays a lot of this type of music.
- I've been to few great electro concerts
- All in all though I like most music.

- Recently I've been getting into some good British films/tv shows.
- Favorite TV shows: Dr. Horrible, Pushing Daisies, Dead like me, Fire fly, House and Sherlock Holmes
- Favorite Movies: Analyze this, Good Will Hunting, Greece and Princess Bride
- However, in generally I don't watch many films or TV shows

- My favorite book at the moment is "Zen and the art of Motorcycle maintenance".

One Amazing Thing I've Done

While backpacking for the first time in Europe, I decided that I'd like to learn to sail. So a few days later I signed up for a week in the south of France with a non-profit organization called "Les Glenans". There I learned to sail a Catameran while living with French locals and internationals doing the same. When we weren't out on the water we would cook, clean our accommodations and explore local towns together. I learned a great deal about French culture, cooked many different French dishes and enjoyed time on the water. I enjoyed the experience so much that I cancelled the rest of my travel plans and spent a second week learning to sail there.
