ABOUT ME

We both love playing OUTSIDE in all seasons, and are especially fond of our BICYCLES. We love to play GAMES, read BOOKS, and have CAMPFIRES. We recently bought our first HOUSE and live in community with our housemates. We stay busy with many home and yard improvement projects when we are not enjoying OUTDOOR ADVENTURES!

Michelle has traveled all around the Americas and a little of Europe. Most of her traveling has been in the United States -working and volunteering in camps, national parks, farms, and restaurants. Tim grew up in Minnesota, but loves to travel, especially to participate in running and cycling events! One of our couchsurfing experiences involved traveling to Hawaii to run the Hilo marathon together and explore the islands. Great fun!

At home, Tim enjoys running, blogging, fixing bikes, and computer programming. Michelle enjoys gardening, chef-duty, and being crafty.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have hosted and surfed- all enjoyable experiences.
We love meeting people this way... the giving or receiving of an exchange created from a very small yet necessary need for a traveler away from home- evening shelter. Such a simple idea reaping typically small, beautiful interactions and sometimes growing to friendships and community. Overall, our CouchSurfing (and Hosting) experience has been super positive!
