Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I surfed extensively on my 'round the world trip in 2009, before I took the plunge and went to law school. Through law school I unfortunately had roommates somewhat squeemish about CS so I wasn't able to host. I did meet up with surfers passing through Boston on occasion. I recently moved into a studio apartment and am excited to finally be able to host surfers.
Couchsurfed around the world: all across the US, in Spain and France, and along the Trans-Siberian railway in far-flung Russia. All my experiences have been positive - I'm amazed at how well I get along with everyone in the CS community.
Movies, books, music, hiking, Russia, criminal law.
Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a big fan of all three. A few favorites:
Movies - Punch Drunk Love, Barry Lyndon, Fantastic Mr. Fox, All the Real Girls, Crime and Misdemeanors
Music - Animal Collective, Ween, The Smiths, Neil Young, Dylan, the Beatles
Books - Lolita, Pastoralia, A Visit from the Goon Squad
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Saw Lenin's embalmed body in Moscow's Red Square. So eerie.
