Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I am on CS since 2006 because it combines some of my favourite activities: travelling, hosting, and meeting and helping people.

Now, on a more factual level:

1) I love spending quality time together, sharing experiences, and mutually expanding worldviews. But I know sometimes we (either as guests or hosts) don't have that time or energy availabile. Having said that, I am not avert to simply offering you a place to stay. I strongly believe in helping each other out simply for the sake of it. I appreciate some CS members frown upon guests who can't spend time with their hosts, and vice-versa. That is not my case, as I normally (unfortunately) don't have a lot of spare time...

2) Most IMPORTANTLY: Due to my living arrangements and professional latest changes, I can only host when my flatmate is out AND when I don't have any Airbnb guests. So bear in mind that, in that scenario, my availability to host is limited. On top of that, when I have the opportunity to return the generosity of my CS hosts, they are priority as guests for me. Please don't take it personally if I can't accept your request.
