ABOUT ME

I love travelling. Aim to see as much of the world as I can then choose where to settle. Been across the atlantic 8 times now, Argentina, Canada, Florida, Central USA and North East USA. Seen a lot of western Europe, alps, canaries, Balearics. Been to the UAE which was quality and of course travelled around the UK alot. Spent 8 months travelling around Asia and Australasia. Stayed in South East Asia ever since.

I travelled Philippines for around 6 months between 2012-2018.

I currently live in Phnom Penh, Cambodia and travel from there.

My background is in acrobatics, gymnastics, diving etc so I'm always keen for a thrill. I love adventurous stuff, climbing, hiking, free swimming, camping, exploring. Always challenging myself and looking for more fun stuff to do. Adventures = good stories! I'm much more likely to be found diving off a waterfall than looking round a city.

Surf and host

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed with 3 different hosts in Tokyo (OCT2011) and a lovely girl in Singapore (FEB2012). I stayed with a host in Manila who ended up becoming a good friend. During my stay in the Philippines we met up another 3 times. I plan to host her in Cambodia. I have had a great experience with all my couch surfing.

I travel to places for the fun of it and love to get involved with the local people and culture. I'm not a typical tourist and always want a different experience.

The best thing about couch surfing somewhere is having the local knowledge to guide you to do things you wouldn't normally do. I don't surf to get a free room somewhere, I'm more interested in meeting people and getting involved with what the host is doing.

Outside the couch surfing web site I have stayed with people and families I randomly met in Indonesia and Malaysia. These have been some of the best experiences of my life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did the most amazing backpacking trip around Australasia and SE Asia. I have had so many amazing experiences it wouldn't be possible to pick out 1 amazing thing. I could however tell stories about my adventures all day.
