About Me

Since 2015, I am living in Germany again, as I did for the first 19 years of my life, but my long-term stays in Thailand, the Netherlands, Hong Kong and the United Kingdom have made me passionate about living and working together across the globe. That's what motivates me for my job as a consultant for international development projects. That's also why I love couchsurfing. I enjoy being with friends and meeting new people. If I should meet you somewhere on this globe, I hope we get along!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy getting to know others, learning about their lives, their experiences, and their opinions, making new connections and even finding new friends.

Interests

I am a big music lover, as I enjoy both making it myself and listening to it. I play the saxophone and the guitar and have been singing in choirs since I was three years old. I have a passionate interest in politics, both on the national and the global level. I guess you can call me a foodie - well, who doesn't like food - but I guess not many things can make me more happy than sharing a good meal with people I like.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like both reading and going to the movies. I am a special fascination with spy stories, crime stories and thrillers. If I have the time, I follow (or binge-watch haha) TV shows. Scrubs, Madmen, Homeland and Cimmunity are among my favourite.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling - seeing new places and meeting new people - always amazes me. The special moments for me are then not so much particular moments, but simple moments like sharing a good meal, laughing about a simple joke, or having a good controversial debate.
