About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To connect with others

ABOUT ME

I spent my youth in California, growing up in Los Angeles and attending college at UC Berkeley. I enjoy good food, politics, tennis, film, indie music, self-effacing humor and meaningful conversations with friends new and old.

I could spill all the beans now, but somehow I think that makes the experience of discovering someone new a little bit of a letdown. There's a lot I want to say and hear, and can't wait to do so in person!

PHILOSOPHY

I aspire to live in the moment for all time. It's harder said than done!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Two friends of mine from college introduced me to CouchSurfing. On first glance, I'll admit I was a bit skeptical. But it didn't take more than a single CS experience to convince me how incredible the community really is. Not only does CS provide people a wonderful means of cultural exchange; it helps remind people of the inherent goodness all around them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I only recently joined the CouchSurfing network when I arrived in Lyon, France, and began looking for a network. 2 incredible CS hosts welcomed me into their apartments my first few nights in Lyon, and introduced me to many of their friends. We have remained in touch, and even shared Thanksgiving dinner together last November.
