I like to read, run (trails mostly), flyfish, hike, backpack, climb, cook, wonder, avoid instructions. I like beer and I hate zombies. I dig new people and good conversations. Haven't owned a television in nigh on three years. I have an awesome dog.

I love to learn, love, and help people. I have a crazy sense of humor that not everyone understands, but I will definitely make you laugh.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting - hopefully. I'm brand new to this, but I'm always cool about putting up people on their travels. I sometimes am gone a lot and I forget to change my couch availability status. I am so sorry for those of you I missed! I am trying to do a better job of that. It's punk not to respond to requests.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like everything. I am a bit of a sci-fi geek, plus I love apocalyptic fiction (The Wanting Seed; Alas, Babylon; One Second After; Into the Forest...) I am sort of a survivalist nerd and I read A LOT. I love movies, not so much the horror but weird is good. My favorite bands are Old 97s, Amanda Palmer, I'm really into Cake right now, Cowboy Mouth, I like some hip hop and rap. Old country only like Marty Robbins and Merle Haggard.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I talked someone off of a bridge in 2002. That was pretty freaking cool.
