Overview
About Me
I spent three years in Berlin but had to move back to my hometown to attend to some personal matters.
Others would probably describe me as compassionate, honest, open-minded and ranging from politely reserved to hyperactive, depending on the circumstances.
Interests
My entire life pretty much resolves around (analytic) philosophy, international politics, history (my current pet issue being peasant life in the early Middle ages, but interests come and go) and, most importantly, music, whether that be listening to everything from electro-acoustic improvisation and field recordings via techno through to noise, going to concerts/clubs (Berghain used to be my second living room once, though I've calmed down since), taking a shot at making my own (I'm in the process of building my own home studio from the ground up) or, if money and time allows, learning cello, although that one's still pending.

Music, Movies, and Books
Probably Nabokov's short stories (Lolita's magnificent, obviously, but wait until you've read Spring in Fialta) and everything Tarkovsky and Kieslowski. Music-wise it's too difficult to pick one (or many, for that matter), but Fugazi has probably marked me the most, although they're not particularly reflective of my tastes more generally anymore.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Cooked a grade-A béarnaise sauce. It's a lot more difficult than it looks.
