About Me

I love being outside - climbing, bouldering, hiking, running, biking, and anything else. Music and beer are the absolute best ways to accompany any time spent doing anything worthwhile. I'm also an athletic trainer by day, in order to afford things.

I rarely meet someone that I don't enjoy spending time with, everybody has a story, and a lot of them are worth listening to.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's such a phenomenal way to meet people, have a great first hand experience somewhere new, and without spending a fortune being alone in a hotel room. I've never had a bad experience while surfing. Good people and good memories.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - River City Extension, Tallest Man on Earth, The Head and the Heart, Aloe Blacc, Mumford, Said the Whale, Tokyo Police Club, Noah and the Whale, Lumineers, Modest Mouse, Chvrches, Avett Brothers, Decemberists, and the list could go on forever.

Books - Anything about mountaineering, such as Into Thin Air, or anything by Vonnegut. Usually stick with non-fiction. There's so many interesting things that actually happened, its hard to convince myself to read something made up.

Movies - Wes Anderson, but I'll watch anything once.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled almost 15,000 miles from PA to OR over the course of 2 months. Met countless amazing people and saw way too many awesome things. Hard to top, but I'll keep on trying!
