ABOUT ME

I am working full time and finally able to open my home to couchsurfers. I have 2 cats and 2 turtles. I love to find new places to visit and I love to meet new people. Couch surfing was good to me when I was on my road trip and I hope to be able to pay it forward to travelers who need a place in my area.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

in 2011 I took a 2.5 month trip that took me to 39 states! It was a great way to see my country and meet some new people. I have also done some local meetups with some CS groups. I am all about meeting new people so every aspect of this sounds amazing!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met some of the greatest people through CS! People who have taken me in and treated me like family. I had no idea how much fun Couch Surfing could be and how much I could learn from all of the people and places I have had an opportunity to visit!

I have an odd group of music favorites but some include: Chromeo, Halestorm, Silvertide, Kelly Clarkson, Stacie Orrico, Whitney Houston, and anything country!

Books...I just joined a book club so I will pretty much read anything but I do like a good romantic comedy.

Movies...I think going to the movies is the best thing ever! But to name a few of my favorites: Men of Honor, Maid of Honor, The 10th Kingdom, Pretty Woman, U571, Avatar, Bolt, How to Train Your Dragon, Parent Trap, etc.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

In 2010 I made a list of things to see and do in Florida. Things I had said I was going to do for years and just never did. I made it my "resolutions list" and the list grew to 39 things! By the end of the year I had all of my friends involved in going on my different adventures across FL and by December 31st the whole list was done!

Looking back I still don't know how we were able to do the entire list! It's amazing what can be done when you have good people around you and a little determination!

I have a different way of looking at the world. I see things for what they could be or should be, not for what they seem to be. I have a positive outlook on life and I have a need to see the world and discover the people, cultures, and customs in each area.
