About Me

CURRENT MISSION

See the world, one plate at a time

ABOUT ME

My name is Matt. I travel the world (mostly USA) for work and pleasure. I’m most interested in couch surfing to meet some locals to see a few sites, including good local bars, restaurants, and hang-outs. I am VERY laid back and always willing to go with the flow. I love the arts, photography, (certain) music, food (especially) and architecture. I plan to see some of the big attractions in Paris, but am up for any suggestions. I am fun and outgoing; I am very food oriented and travel very frequently for work and pleasure (about 70% of the time). I have a home in Denver, Colorado, USA and love taking care of it. I have a Welsh Corgi (Dog) named Monkey who is a total goof-ball. I have a great family who I am very close with. I regularly enjoy exercise and the outdoors.

I have surfed a few times and met up with some travelers. I plan to host when I'm home more, but my current job/vacation travel keeps me away.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've scaled Maccu Picchu, seen the big Buddha in Hong Kong, rode bicycles in Stockholm (most recently), stayed at the London Eye, walked the ruins of Pompeii, swam the blue grotto of the isle of Capri, smelled the salty air of Cinque Terra, eaten the cheese plate in Lyon (France), smelled hash in the Netherlands, touched the wall in Berlin, ate the schwinesax in the Hoffbrau Haus, slept in castles in Bavaria, walked the St. Charles bridge in Czech, had my camera stolen in Madrid, eaten sushi at the market in Tokyo, had a massage in the Philippines, stared in the Sisteen Chapel, swam in Venice (Italy) and I've seen a few states in the US as well.
