ABOUT ME

I'd describe myself as a friend of nature. My biggest interests are nature and all the phenomena taking place on Earth and also outside our beautiful planet. On my free time I like making trips outdoors. Especially I enjoy birdwatching which usually makes me carry binoculars and spotting scope in my saddlebacks wherever I cycle.

Few years ago I got interested in long distance bicycle touring with trips lasting from a couple of days to months. Hunger for more kilometres and new experiences has been growing stronger all the time since the fist trip to southern parts of Sweden and Norway with my friends. I have to admit that I had taken a beer or two before decision to participate my friends idea (or dream) of cycling on the mountains of southern Norway. Either of us did not have very much experience of cycling at that time.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoy bicycle touring. A tent is a fine place to sleep, but it would be great to spend some nights on couches of friendly people. I can also host travellers whenever it is possible.

Interests

Nature (especially birdwatching), cycling, photography and travelling. I think these are the most important ones.
