ABOUT ME

"You know in our twenties we were talking about the men we were dating. In our thirties we were talking about men that other men were dating, but now in our forties we manage to talk about food."

My life has been filled with brilliant experiences well into my adulthood. I journey through my life with an upbeat personality that is guided by an amazing family, incredible friends, beautiful music, yummy delicious food, and laughter. It is only with all of these factors that help show people show who I have been, who I became, and where I'll be going next.

I am a full time student until June 2012. I will be completing my Bachelor's Degree at the Culinary Institute of America. I am also a applicant for the 2012-2013 Fulbright Award for a Master's Degree in Bra, Italy at the University of Gastronomic Sciences.

I am merely a message away if you would like to know more of me, I enjoy meeting new people of any culture, race, or ethnic background. I am a big culture fanatic so anything that brings me out of my familiar background is a-okay with me.

PHILOSOPHY

Music breathes most of my philosophy. I do practice Buddhism although I grew up Catholic. I have gained a new appreciation for this type of religion and enjoy sharing this perspective with many other who become interested.

FOOD is a huge part of my life as not only did I enjoy growing up in the comfort of it, but I actually majored in it at the best culinary school in the world from my perspective.

My interests are constantly expanding. I enjoy many activities and I gain a lot of satisfaction in trying something new and unordinary.

I am interested in fitness and eating well. I get around in different locations with a run as I always tell people I am able to see more of a place if I run around than walk.

I cannot enjoy swimming as of yet as I unfortunate am not a great swimmer. Perfectly trained drowner, but no luck in the swimming aspect of it.

Again interests span many categories, open to new and exciting things.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies come a dime a dozen. I enjoy any particular type.

Music. I dare you to look in my musical library to see all the different genres I have included in it. My music ranges from different beats, sounds, languages, acoustics, and instruments. I love sharing music that people have not heard of before and I respect the same actions as well.

Books. I love books. No particular writer stands out to me as reading for sheer enjoyment has not been my forte while in college.

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy teaching people how to cook. Professionally or just leisurely. I believe that everyone has the ability to cook and that I have a skill that helps bring it out from within them.

There is never a day that I do not participate in learning. My favorite pastime is learning different languages. Having now been establishing and juggling to hold onto the five I know and can comprehend, I hope to gain two more along the way in my life.

Share. I am an old soul at heart and I have challenged myself to do all that I can to seek adventure and seek experience. I have done a lot within the past two decades, I enjoy sharing stories over any beverage; coffee, tea, wine, beer.
