About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Back to Quebec after 5 months studying/travelling in Europe, I want to keep travelling by receiving people at my place

ABOUT ME

I am a person who love to travel, to meet people from different culture and learn from them. I like to learn other languages, I took courses of English, Spanish and German (but I am not quite good in German actually... did not have many chances to practice it yet...).
I have visited Alberta and British Columbia in Canada. I also went a few times in Mexico, for study and for a special international biology project of saving turtles.
I lived in Grenoble, France to study from january to june 2010. During my trip, I visited England, Scotland and Benelux with some international friends that I met in Grenoble. I also went to Switzerland, Italy and Côte d'Azur with my boyfriend. I also went many times in the moutain for snowboarding or snowshoeing. I love winter, but I love summer as well. I like to be outside, take some fresh air. I like to try differents things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

CouchSurfing in Amsterdam
Couchsurfing in Bruxelles for 4 nights: Amazing experience with a very helpful and nice host! We were supposed to stay there only 2 nights, but with the airport closure due to the volcano ash, I stayed 2 more nights before finding a way to go back to Grenoble by land.
Couchsurfing in Nîmes
Couchsurfing in Genève with my boyfriend

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I like all kind of music. But for now I am listening a lot Yoav (new album in April 2010). If you don't know Yoav, you have to discover him!! I like to discover new groups, new kind of music.
Movies: I also like all kind of movies, but specially comedies. I don't go very often to theater though... so if you ask me "Have you seen that movie?" the answer will probably be.. no.
Books: I love detective novel and Travel Guide. Travel guides make me dream and make me want to discover the entire world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bungee jumping, parachute, swimming with dolphins, volunteering in Mexico to save marine turtles and travelling. Snowboarding in the Alps, that was really amazing for me, because the Alps is so huge compared to the mountains I am used to in Quebec!
