Overview
About Me
Hello! I live in London and currently work as a scientist in genetic diseases. I really enjoy keeping active especially in the outdoors, good food, doing puzzles, camping and reading. I'm an open-minded, chilled out person (at least I think I am haha) who loves travelling and discovered new areas and people. I hope to one day travel to every country in the world!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me, the best part of solo traveling isn’t just exploring new places—it’s the people I meet along the way. Every person I encounter has a story, a perspective, or a lesson to share, and those connections often become the most memorable parts of any trip. Couchsurfing is the perfect way to make those connections, whether it’s swapping stories, sharing meals, or just experiencing life from a local’s point of view.

Music, Movies, and Books
I’m drawn to music that feels authentic and personal—raw, real, and full of energy. If I had to choose any particular genres, I'd have to say alternative rock, punk, funk, and ska. I like all sorts of movies but puzzle and mystery-based or comedy in particular! I try to read a lot, mostly non-fiction books on philosophy, psychology or travel, and the occasional fictional book on mystery/dystopian futures.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
An amazing personal thing I've done is a road trip in Australia from Perth- Port Augusta- Alice Springs- Mataranka and back to Perth over 3 weeks, wild camping every night. At work, my biggest accomplishment has been working on a life-saving therapy for a disease that is otherwise fatal in childhood.
