About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Delaying adulthood

ABOUT ME

Well hello all you Couchsurfers! I'm Matthew, a recent graduate in the field of ethical hacking (I'm not sure what this means either). Currently I am awaiting entry for a PhD, so in the meantime I try to make the most of my life, knowing that soon I won't have any spare time. I am lucky to have traveled through many strange places, and met many interesting and wonderful people. My hobbies, apart from breaking computers and tampering with electronics, consist usually of playing classical guitar (left handed). I also like to do road cycling when the weather isn't so bad.

PHILOSOPHY

Contentment is the enemy of invention.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been hosted by many very nice people, and I would like to contribute by letting people stay at my place. Unfortunately, I am living with my parents in a small house. This makes hosting difficult. However if you are greatly in need of a place, then do let me know and I will try to arrange something.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have found couchsurfing to be an excellent way of getting around without much money. It is also a way to meet people from the area you are visiting, rather than staying in a hotel with only other travellers. Many of the people I have met on couchsurfing have shown kindness far beyond my expectations and I am forever grateful for this.

Music, Movies, and Books

Ummm, I'm very open minded, although I dislike the excessively commercialised nature of these industries, particularly music. However I listen to a lot of classical guitar music, and plenty of electric guitar music also. I like comedy films the best.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I SAAAAWWWWW!... a UFO just South of Alice Springs in Australia one night.

Teach, Learn, Share

Anything at all about riding a bicycle or computers! Maybe playing a guitar also!

France, Germany, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Mexico
