ABOUT ME

I love to travel, but my ultimate passion is people. I love to learn people and to learn different viewpoints, opinions, likes, and dislikes. I have a heart for service, especially in Spanish speaking countries, but the country that my heart is most drawn to is Ethiopia. I play piano, sing, play volleyball, learn languages, etc. I love photography, to cook and read. I'm definitely for adventures and risk, I love to take chances!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed before I was ever really a member of couchsurfers. Since I didn't know about the website, the person that I stayed with was not the person that I would have chosen, but he was nice and helpful, so I can't complain. I also stayed with a girl in Switzerland who definitely opened my eyes to the world a little more.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I went to Ethiopia to work with people who are HIV positive last year (2007). Addis Ababa is dirty, but has more character than any other place I've ever been. I heard so many hard stories, but met so many people who rely on Christ as their rock. How encouraging! People who have nothing, in my experience, always tend to be the ones who offer the most.
