Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was introduced to Couchsurfing while living in Madrid several years ago. I LOVE THIS IDEA!! Of traveling while getting to meet interesting and diverse people. My first experience was in Paris where I stayed with a wonderfully welcoming couple. It was an ideal situtation where I could live with Parisians and experience the culture first hand, up close and personal. I instantly feel in love with this concept, and am looking forward to doing it often.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I only have couchsurfed twice and never hosted... yet. I couchsurfed in Dublin for one night and again in Paris for three nights. It is a great way to meet some great people!! Unfortunately I don't have a couch to offer to others at the moment, but I look forward to when I can host people when I get my own house.. Everyone will be welcome!

Interests

I also like to snowboard and wakeboard although I have to admit I'm not that great at it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have such a broad range of interests when it comes to movies, music and books.
I can honestly listen to ANY type of music, it all depends on my mood and what I'm doing. Some of my favorites are jack johnson, slightly stoopid, micheal jackson, incubus. I also listen to worship music which always puts me in a great mood.

I enjoy watching movies but don't watch too many of them. It's usually something I do when I'm with someone else. I hardly watch movies alone because I'm usually doing something else with my time.

When I find a great book, I read it several times. One of my favorites is The Shack by William Young.
