ABOUT ME

We are a couple and best friends. We want to see the world together and meet tons of new and interesting people!

We try to travel outside of South Africa at least every 2 years. Although with kids in the mix now we don't always make our target. We love meeting new people and discovering and discussing cultural differences. The world seems suddenly so small once you travel and we always enjoy exchanging stories.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

When South Africa hosted the Soccer World Cup in 2010 we discovered Couchsurfers and hosted a few during that time. It was such a great experience and we then decided to Surf ourselves when we toured Europe.
After experiencing home life and friendliness of people we just fell in love with experience and experiencing the true culture of a country.

We also love hosting if our schedules allow it and getting to brag about our beautiful and diverse country.

We love exchanging recipes and encourage visitors to cook and try to do the same when we surf.
