About Me

CURRENT MISSION

The world is a friendly place when you make friends.

ABOUT ME

I have lived in Moab for the past eight years. I hike or bicycle almost everyday. I live in one of the most beautiful places on earth. Why not share it with new guests?

I love the adventurous spirit of people. Couch Surfing to see the world, GO YOU.

PHILOSOPHY

What a way to really experience a culture! Do you really learn what it is like by staying in a motel?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I believe that we can extend friendships beyond communities and beyond borders. Couch surfing has re-enforced to me that we are ALL the same with the same dreams and aspirations. How can there be wars when we are friends in those countries?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am going give you MOAB advise: Many visitors from other countries under estimate the distances the WEST They try to cram in everything in a day in Moab... you gotta schedule at least two days minimum.

I have surfed a couple of times and really love it. I met great people.

Interests

I am a petroglyph junkie (Anasazi and Fremont Indian rock art). I like exploring for ancient cliff dwellings.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hey I live in Moab! I have been to Shanghai & Nanjing China,St. Johns in the Virgin Islands, and Barbados. I travel when I can and still enjoy just poking around right here where I live.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to play the card game "golf". My friends are a bit taken back that I would open my home to strangers. They ask how could I be so foolish and am I not afraid? I think about them and think how foolish you are not to have first hand experience of the people around you from different cultures. I am not afraid when I am around friends.
