I am a computer engineer/scientist and I live in Genova, Italy.

Currently I work remotely so I can also travel while work, and sometimes I can also host or meet people in Genova.

This is a new CouchSurfing account. My old one had more than 50 positive references from various countries because I was active before the pandemic. Now I try to start again with new and people here.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I met many nice people on Couchsurfing and we have been to interesting events and locations together. We exchanged a lot of experiences and good time. Couchsurfing is the only service that has this kind of community.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After years of calling Italy home, I finally became an Italian citizen last year. It felt like closing a long, beautiful chapter—and opening a new one.

Defended my PhD after years of research, sleepless nights, and a lot of coffee. It was one of the most challenging and rewarding moments of my life—proof that persistence pays off.

Bought my first apartment in Genova—a small place with big character. I renovated it myself, and now it's my cozy base when I’m not exploring the world.

Trained for months and crossed the finish line of a half marathon. It reminded me that limits are usually just in our heads.
