ABOUT ME

Well hello there! I wouldn't call myself the best person at introducing himself but I'm going to try it now.

First of all I'm still studying communication and media master's degree at ELTE in Budapest. But I'm also working as a sports journalist, which I really love. Writing is very special for me, I'm also working on a couple of novels which I'm planning to publish later when I'm finished with them.

I like to hang around people especially with my friends who mean a lot to me. But this is somewhat a cliché, isn't it? Friends are important to everyone. Anyways in my younger years I was one of those Van Wilder type of guy who always organized parties at his house. Nowadays parties are not so frequent events in my life but I still like to organize things - going to the cinema or to the theatre or organizing any kind of programme which should be fun.

I live in Gödöllő. This is a city which is approximately 30 kms far from Budapest. It's a typical hungarian garden suburb and I really like it here - it's close to the capital city but not so loud and noisy. The only disadvantage is that other than house parties there ain't much to do here at nights - there are some pubs but they are far from the best to be honest.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is a little bit funny because I don't believe in any of the major beliefs but I think there is an afterlife waiting for all of us. I'm a very optimistic person who loves life and I also think that laughing is the cure for everything. I can be a little bit silly when it comes to humor but I can talk about serious things as well. I'm proud that I have opinion about almost everything and I'm happy when I meet a person like that - that's always the beginning of a lengthy conversation and who knows what else :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm up to host surfers in my humble house. I have three older sisters but none of them live here anymore so there is two big bedrooms that are waiting to be occupied. Girls or guys it doesn't matter. Later - especially after I finish my studies at ELTE - I'd like to visit some countries.

As I mentioned Gödöllő is quite near to Budapest. There is a bus stop (50 m) and a train station (3-4 minutes walk) nearby, I usually use the latter because it's more comfortable than the bus. It takes about 30-40 minutes to get to Budapest.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well after hosting three people I can say it without a doubt that I love couchsurfing. It's a great thing to get to know foreigners and help them out in advising good places then go there together. Hopefully soon I can tell more about the surfing experience as well.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

When I was in Vancouver, Canada I roller skated around Stanley Park. It took almost 2 hours but it felt like eternity: it was so beautiful to skate next to the ocean with the smell of sea air around me.
