I love food and learning new card games. I like adventures, the kind where you forget what time it is and then you suddenly realise that it's dark outside, you've forgotten to eat lunch AND dinner, and it's way past your bedtime! I think plants are living magic and I love cats. I enjoy flexible plans best - leave some room for spontaneity! I want to visit every single wild hot spring. I want to live simply and leave the world better than I found it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Once upon a time, I was established. I had a cat and a job and a home and some roommates, so then I got couchsurfers. Now I am alone and grateful for the kindness of strangers that become friends, locals that help me out, and adventure partners I won't ever forget!

The first time I went to Cerro Negro and my guide (coworker) pointed out that we were standing on an active volcano on the Ring of Fire. I was on that ring of fire daily for 3 months after that moment.
