About Me

Hello! My name is Moe Hein Ko, originally from Myanmar and currently living in Thailand.

My life’s mission is to build compassionate communities that bring peace, education, and opportunities to vulnerable youth and job seekers from Myanmar and Southeast Asia.

I believe in kindness, cultural exchange, and learning from people everywhere. Traveling for me is not just about seeing places, but about meeting open-minded friends, exchanging ideas, and creating meaningful bonds.

I am deeply inspired by how people can come together to support one another and create better futures. Through every connection, I hope to build bridges of understanding, compassion, and collaboration.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe in building real human connections beyond borders.
As a Burmese traveler and founder of the Taung Kyun (Jambudīpa) Virtual Nation Project, I want to meet people who value compassion, peace, and community.

I’m not just traveling for fun — I’m also learning, sharing ideas, and co-creating solutions for education, digital literacy, and sustainable living. Couchsurfing allows me to exchange stories, culture, and kindness while staying connected to communities around the world.

Hosting me means sharing a space with someone who is passionate about peace, culture, and making the world a better place — one human connection at a time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I started a visionary project called the Taung Kyun (Jambudīpa) Dhammic Nation Project — an initiative to build a peaceful, compassionate, and inclusive virtual nation inspired by Buddhist values and digital innovation.

Even though I began with no resources, living simply with only my determination, I have created a vision that connects thousands of people to ideas of mindfulness, education, and sustainable community living.

One amazing thing for me is not climbing mountains or crossing oceans, but daring to dream of a better world and working step by step to make it real.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share more than just stories — I bring with me culture, kindness, and a spirit of peace.
• Culture & Stories: As a Burmese traveler and founder of a peace-driven community project, I can share real experiences about Myanmar, Theravāda Buddhist traditions, and what it means to build an ethical digital nation.
• Cooking & Food: I can cook simple but heartwarming Burmese meals and share the flavors of my country.
• Skills & Knowledge: I can teach meditation basics, mindfulness practices, and digital literacy skills to anyone interested.
• Friendship & Respect: Most importantly, I offer respect, honesty, and the willingness to help with anything at home — whether that’s cleaning, organizing, or supporting daily tasks.

I want my stay to be more than just accommodation — it should be an exchange of culture, peace, and humanity.
