Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on Couchsurfing because I enjoy meeting new people and seeing places through the eyes of the people who live there. Hotels are fine, but they never give you the real feeling of a city. I like the idea of sharing stories, exploring together, and getting to know someone’s culture in a genuine way.

I’m not here just for a place to stay. I’m here to connect, make friends, and enjoy good company. I appreciate good conversations, discovering local spots, and learning from the people I meet. For me, Couchsurfing is about human connection and the small moments that make traveling meaningful.

Music:
I’m all over the place with music, from old classics to indie, RnB, and chill playlists. I love anything with emotion or a good vibe. Fairuz in the morning, lo-fi while working, and a mix of Arabic, English, and instrumental at night. Music is my mood reset.

Movies:
I enjoy movies that make me think or make me feel something. I love dramas, psychological thrillers, documentaries, and anything with a great story. I also have a soft spot for nostalgic classics and the occasional cheesy comedy.

Books:
I read a mix of personal development, psychology, leadership, and the occasional novel when I want to escape. I enjoy books that teach me something new or shift how I see the world. I love stories about people, places, and ideas that push you to grow.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once packed a small bag, traveled to Slovakia by train, and explored the country which I had never been to with zero plans. It ended up being one of the best trips of my life.
