ABOUT ME

I'm a third year college student currently majoring in studio art, and I'm thinking grad school for industrial design. I like to chat, travel, laugh, eat and learn. I studied in Firenze during the spring of 2009, and it was INCREDIBLE.

When I'm not napping, I enjoy being happy and doing all that is possible to keep things delightful. I like to giggle, sing along, read, and eat (cheese, bread and chocolate are my favorites). I also like to create things out of everything (garbage to jewelry? yes please!). My favorite color palette is earth tones, although the occasional bright green is always appreciated. I like to go out, but not every night; I thoroughly enjoy dancing, although I'm probably really bad at it. No matter! My favorite thing about studying abroad in Italy is using my limited Italian to try to talk to people who speak very little English.

One of my goals in life is to buy a round the world ticket and see as much as I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I proposed a photo walk to a garden in Florence. A bunch of us stayed late and ended up filming a remake of The Princess Bride. It was great experience.

I get incredibly excited about anything foreign.
(tea, language, design, people...and IKEA)

But otherwise, I really like meeting new people. I like learning about other things I haven't experienced.

音乐、电影和书籍

I like suspense thriller movies the best, but I don't mind watching others. I really like foreign films too. As for TV, I am a huge fan of LOST, The Office, and CSI.

When I listen to music, I don't really pay attention to the lyrics. I like basically any type of music, except for when it's played too loudly. My favorites though, are probably acoustic-y and mellow.

I enjoy realistic fiction, but my favorite author is Saint-Exupèry; his words (translated for the most part, unfortunately) are beautiful.
