My name is Mohamed, I am Canadian Lebanese and a very passionate traveler! I am currently living in Ottawa, Canada and I am ready to visit the world!

I am a young professional and a cartoonist on the side. I LOVE food, I enjoy nature and love going on adventures. I consider myself to be open minded and very friendly :) I am also very easygoing, positive, excited and curious about the world!!

I really enjoy and value meeting new people from various backgrounds. It's always so enriching to hear people's stories and to learn about their culture, traditions, families and more!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I want to be immersed into the countries/cities I visit. I believe that couch surfing would offer an exceptional opportunity to see a city through a local person's eyes.

More importantly, I am a traveler, not a tourist. What that means is that I want to explore things that haven't been explored, get out of my comfort zone, experience new and exciting things! I want to LIVE!

Couchsurfing is an amazing way to do some of these things! What better way to discover new things than from a local!?

兴趣

I am a very open person. I am never afraid of trying new things! As a result, I have a wide variety of interests :) it can be as simple as walking and getting lost in a city, or mountain climbing (I have a fear of heights, but whatever! haha). I have so many interests, so do not be afraid to ask!

Music: all kinds of music, as long as I can dance to it ;)

Movies: I also enjoy any genre of movies, but my ultimate favorite is Mrs. Doubtfire! My favourite genre are comedy and fantasy. Horror when I have someone to hold on to and laugh with when I scream hahaha

Books: I also love all kinds of books! The book that has changed me the most was "The Forty Rules of Love". That book was magical and allowed me to discover myself! It was an interesting experience!

I am very versatile in terms of music, movies and books, so if you have any good suggestions I am more than open to them!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Traveling. It has truly been the most amazing thing I have done. It has allowed me to learn so much about so many things and experience pure joy! In all honesty, Traveling bring life into me. I think, as humans we were meant to explore the world and the people around us because those human interactions are what allows us to grow.

I can teach hosts about my Canadian-Lebanese culture and identity, I can teach them French, English and Arabic! I can also teach you how to draw cartoons (or I can turn you into a cartoon!). Most of all I want to learn how other people think and what they think about, as well as their culture and beliefs!

Most importantly I want to share knowledge and ideas! I love having conversations about life, politics, social justice, traveling, drawing, beards (hahaha).
