Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I travelled to Colombo, Sri Lanka in AIESEC Leadership Development Experience through a Global Volunteer opportunity tackling 1 of the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goal Decent and Economic Growth) on August 30th 2018.
I never heard about Couchsurfing at that time, and I believe if I did, I would had hundreds of more friends and adventures than I had.

AIESEC has a "Global Village" which is an event that combines all AIESEC projects participants together in a huge place and each country participants should start sharing their culture & traditional food.
That event opened the gate for me to have more friends from countries from all over the world. Besides, my project participants who would be staying in Sri Lanka at that period of time.
So we organized and planned to go on Adventures every weekend & visited more than 13 cities in Sri Lanka and we shared alot of memories that I am really glad that I had the confidence to get out of my comfort zone and face all these adventures and obstacles that I will never forget.
I actually thought that AIESEC was the only gateway that can make me path through these kind of experiences and great moments with travelers/foreigners, so as I arrived back to Egypt, I enrolled to be an AIESEC official Volunteer as a member, after the interview I was allocated to Marketing member, but I didn't like that position because I was looking for the same experience I had in Sri Lanka but in my Country Egypt 🇪🇬.
As soon as the Customer Experience dual role member Vacancy was opened, which has the Job Description of taking care of all the Logistics and Events like (Accomadation, Airport Pickups, Trips and Outings) for foreigners who are coming on AIESEC projects in Egypt.
I got accepted and I would say it was one of the outstanding experiences in my life, I can literally say now, that I have a home almost in every single country 😂💃👌

So finally, I'm here now to meet more travelers, part time adventurers and foreigners living in Egypt from diverse countries and cultures for the sack of experience, and if I liked the experiences I'm having here, I would really think of hosting people in my place 🤩.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am super glad that I had the confidence and courage to go through an AIESEC experience and travel alone for 50 Days in Colombo, Sri Lanka which is totally different environment and atmosphere from here 🔥👌
