There are so many places to be seen, people to be met, pictures to be taken, music to be played, foods to be cooked, laughs to be laughed, money to be blown, drinks to be cheered, and fun to be had for me to waste this precious life in one little city.

Interests

I have a tattoo that is a verse from a beautiful Arabic poem that says "There are no dead birds in the horrizon and there are no bees sucking the nectar out of dead flowers." It rhymes better in Arabic but the message is as beautiful and profound in any language: NEVER BE DEAD.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many books to mention but Candide by Voltaire and The Picture of Dorian Grey by Wilde are on top of my list for a while. Music: depends on the mood but all is good.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I just won a case with the Department of State that experienced lawyers either hung up on me when asked them about it or told me I have a next to zero chance of winning. That was amazing. Life changing too.
