A community‑focused eatery serving vegetarian‑heavy meals for around $4 NZD, with desserts at $3 NZD, and many meals given away for free if needed. Open lunch (12–2 pm) and dinner (4–7:45 pm), Monday–Thursday. It received a prestigious award in 2024 for its role in strengthening community connections.

A Night 'n Day convenience store is nearby for groceries, snacks, and essentials.

A pharmacy on Hillside Road is also within walking distance.

Forbury Corner offers cafés, takeaways, and small shops just minutes away.

Parks & landmarks

Caversham Reserve, Bathgate Park, and Kew Park are easily accessible and great for walks or picnics.

Heritage sites in the area include the Gasworks Museum and Hillside Railway Workshops.
