Hi my name is Mohammed, although I go by the nick of Hammer.

I currently work as a legal advisor and consultant for Coram Childrens Legal centre in Colchester England. I also manage a charity called Keep it FAX which provides scholarships and other services to children in Sierra Leone.

My parents are from Sierra Leone, however I grew up in Wales mainly and Manchester. However since leaving home for uni I have spent time in the UK, Europe and South Asia for work.

I'd describe myself as a laid back, trustworth and down for a good time. Ive travelled around a bit so I find it easier to get on with people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm planning a big trip to France this summer and would to use it as a platform to allow me to travel around as much of the country as I can and get a real feel of some of the areas I will pass through.

I've been recommended couch sharing as its something I've done on an informal basis so I'm glad to find out you can organise before hand, which makes things easier.

I'm also hoping to build a network which will allow me to facilitate trips at a later date and support people who would likewise want to do the same!!

Interests

FOOTBALL, Photography, Camping and hiking, reading books. I use to play football but my knee has been bad recently which has restricted a lot of the activities I used to do.

Currently I do a bit of salsa, kizumba, swimming, cycling and started a bit of yoga to help my knee.

I'm quite Human Rights orientated and especially interested in Child rights.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I set up and manage my own charity called Keep it FAX! which provides scholarships and support services to children in Sierra Leone. We organise a lot of fundraising events and monitor the progress of the students we sponsor.
