I find it too narcissistic to describe myself. Plus, this is why we meet, isn't it? to find out about each other. I think reading my profile, and sometimes reading between the lines, should give you a good idea about me, good enough to decide whether you want to meet someone like me or not.

PHILOSOPHY

living by your wants will never make you happy. What it means to be fully human is to strive to live by ideas and ideals and not to measure your life by what you've attained in terms of your desires but those small moments of integrity, compassion, rationality, even self-sacrifice. Because in the end, the only way that we can measure the significance of our own lives is by valuing the lives of others.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like the idea of the CS. In economics, which is what I studied, one of the main assumptions about individuals' behavior (which I don't like, whether it it is true or not) is that they are driven by greed and selfishness. I like any attempt towards making the world a place in which people care about one another, care about interaction with other people without solely seeking their own benefits. In a world in which people are getting more and more isolated everyday, I like the idea of meeting new people and learning about different cultures.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had great experience with CS, meeting very interesting people. I have not had the chance to participate in CS as a host, but I should be able to that starting this Summer.
