I'm studying medicine in Frankfurt. After finishing my A-Levels I volunteered at an NGO in South Africa for one year, which really tought me how to live a life out of school. Though I've now decided to study medicine I've got dozens of other passions which I try to keep up whilst studying. Some of my favourite things to do for example is dancing, acting or playing the flute, card games or just walking in a place I haven't before. Not having any sense of orientation is actually really great when you just want to find new places and meet interesting people, so I sometimes just take the tube in a new city and see where I end up.

I really enjoy meeting new people and I found out it's kind of hard to go to a bar on your own (at least in Germany) to meet new people, cause most people go there in groups and you don't neccessarily want to meet people outside your social circle all the time. I usually meet people in person, which is why at least for now I sometimes get irritated with couchsurfing, but we'll see, I might really start to apprechiate this app.

Honestly I really love any type of music, except for metal and most rap-songs, most of the time. And the only reason I don't enjoy those is cause I haven't really figured out how to dance while listening.
I really love the movies Dogma, la Haine and black swan, but those are just the movies that really stuck with me, I do enjoy comedies and action movies a lot as well.
My favourite books are the Tiffany Aching novels by Terry Pratchet

Even though I'm still young I have been able to travel the world quite a bit and I love sharing my points of view with others. I can teach how to make beaded animals, or in theorie how to cook traditional south african dishes, though I mess them up half the time. In theory I also know how to cook traditional german dishes, but then I start arguing with my friends what that even means, so I just count that as cooking. Otherwise I am really interested in learning about other people's stories and experiences, cause I think we can learn from each other's mistakes and achievements nearly as much as we can of our owns.
