I'm now living in Gothenburg, Sweden...taking a few years off from the corporate world. Lived in San Diego, CA for 13 years and loved it...love surfing in baja, camping, and the whole chill lifestyle there. But living in Europe has always been something I've wanted to do, so here I am.

Am looking to make friends, so please do not hesitate to write.

Summer is, sadly, over and I am once again pretty busy. I won't have time to host but may be able to meet up for a fika with interesting travelers and/or offer some advice/guidance.

PHILOSOPHY

Choose Life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a fucking big television, choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players and electrical tin openers. Choose good health, low cholesterol, and dental insurance. Choose fixed interest mortgage repayments. Choose a starter home. Choose your friends. Choose leisurewear and matching luggage. Choose a three-piece suite on hire purchase in a range of fucking fabrics. Choose DIY and wondering who the fuck you are on a Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing, spirit-crushing game shows, stuffing fucking junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pishing your last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, fucked up brats you spawned to replace yourself. Choose your future. Choose life... But why would I want to do a thing like that? I chose not to choose life. I chose somethin' else. And the reasons? There are no reasons. Who needs reasons when you've got the Southern California Experience. (my variation of the most famous line from "Trainspotting")

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a musician with knowledge about guitar and pedal steel guitar, as well as some music theory. I'm also a designer with extensive knowledge about Photoshop, web design, mobile design, etc. I try and maintain a broad base of knowledge on a wide-range of topics...nothing like doing shots with a group of philosophers!
