ABOUT ME

I am an outgoing, relaxed person who likes to have fun meeting new people and traveling. A sense of humour is very important to me as well as generosity and consideration. I am currently staying with friends in Freiburg Germany, where I did an exchange two years ago. English is my mother tongue, but I also speak decent German now and still remember some French from public school. I prefer staying in Hostels while traveling because you can save a lot of money and because of the attitude of the people who stay in Hostels. I want to try couch surfing cause it's a cool idea, and I am a student traveling on a budget, and when you save money with accomodation then you can extend your travels. As I wrote before meeting new people is also very important to me cause I can only see so many Museums and Cultural attractions before I get bored with City Tours but meeting cool open minded people is something I will never get bored of. Ya I look forward to meeting you and hopefully I can also host people in the future when I have my own place.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have not yet participated in the CS community, but I have stayed in a lot of Hostels throughout Europe and I can imagine that the community of Couch Surfers is very similar regarding their attitudes and friendliness. The idea seems really great to me and it is always more interesting to meet people from the region you are a traveling to, as opposed to just meeting other tourists which is usually the case in Hostels.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have slept on lots of peoples couches, usually after long nights of partying. But my most recent experience has been staying in my old Apartment in Freiburg Germany, where I did an exchange two years ago. I have been sleeping on a matrass on the floor and it is all you really need a soft bed and warm place to sleep. The rest of the time I am always busy with friends, music, sports, partying, so I don't miss having my own room.

Huge comedy fan, I really love Ali-G, and Hape Kerkeling (German Comedian), as well as movies like Office Space, Shawshank Redemption, American Beauty, and many others. I like reading Crime Dramas, and Action books.

I enjoy discussion, and interesting conversations on philosopy, politics, points of view, I don't always know what I am talking about, but I always have an opinion, although I am very open-minded in hearing other peoples opinions.
