ABOUT ME

I am piecing together the ways of the world with each challenge I face. I enjoy being active and creative! By nature I am curious & observant of details. When I am passionate about something I become extremely motivated, and immerse myself in that which drives me! A sedentary lifestyle is not for me...I currently have a job (only 2 more weeks left) making audit phone calls and sitting at a computer for a long time and it sucks the life out from my eyeballls.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is movement! Life is breathing! Each day holds endless possibilities for discovery and adventure. We've got to quench our thirst for life by getting out there and making connections with those around us! We must strive to be conscious of our surroundings and warmhearted towards other living organisms (humans, animals, and plants alike).

At the moment, my living arrangement does not allow me to lend you my couch...but I will gladly host people when I move from the nest!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couch surfed once in Portland and had such an amazing time. I love the idea of people really opening themselves and their homes up to one another, creating this beautiful web of interconnectedness...everyone has something to offer and we can all learn from one another.

Movies I watch depend on my mood...but I like movies that don't follow the typical hollywood storyline.

I haven't been listening to much music lately, just soaking in the sounds that surround me. But I like an eclectic mix of music from other countries, electronica (four tet, aphex twin, boards of canada, ulrich schnauss), hip-hop (CunninLynguists, RJD2, wu-tang), classical, anything whimsical (Nouvelle Vague, Andrew Bird, Cinematic Orchestra, Sufjan)...

Lately I've been reading a lot about enzymes & eating raw, yoga, and dreams.
