Hi!
My name is Molly and I grew up around Byron Bay, Australia. I've been living in Sydney and Wollongong in NSW Australia for the past seven years. I've completed a Certificate IV in Performing Arts and recently completed a Bachelor of Primary Education. So currently I'm working as a casual primary school teacher, and also a bartender at a local pub. I absolutely love travelling, and I've been dreaming of travelling Europe for years. Now that I've finally finished uni, I've decided to travel around the UK/Europe for 4 months beginning at the end of May. I love meeting new people and exploring new places, and absolutely love to meet some locals in each place I visit!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I read a quote once, and it's stuck with me ever since. I believe it was 'I urge you to travel, as far and as widely as possible. Sleep on floors if you have to. Find out how other people live and eat and cook. Learn from them - wherever you go.' I just want to see what the world has to offer, and hopefully make some friends along the way!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I love a range of music, and love seeing live music. A few of the artists I listen to often are: Gang of Youths, Fleetwood Mac, Rex Orange County, The Babe Rainbow, The Wombats, Middle Kids, Angie McMahon. There are too many to list! But always up for hearing new artists!

Movies: One of my favourite movies of all time is 'Into The Wild'. I think the way the film was produced is amazing and it just makes me want to travel more! I also love Lords of Dogtown, Finding Nemo and any Disney and Harry Potter movies!

Books: I love the book 'The Power', as it's all about positive thinking and manifesting positive experiences and people into your life. And I love the Harry Potter series and the Tomorrow When The War Began series!

I would love to immerse myself as much as possible into the cultures of the different places I visit. I believe meeting locals is such a great way to learn more about the local culture, and would love to make some new friends along the way!
