Hey Everyone! My name is Molly, from Savannah, Georgia. I am a 22 year old college student residing at Valdosta State University. I will be graduating this December with a degree in General Studies and will be going back to school to get my Associates in Nursing. Being a nurse has always been my career choice because I want to be able to help and take care of others. I am excited for this journey to become a travel nurse or join the Peace Corps.

I became a member of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority Incorporated in 2015 in college. My involvement in my sorority has been a great learning experience for me to have a close group of women that work on women empowerment and cultural awareness on campus and in the community.

I am American but my ethnicity's are Irish, Norwegian, Welsh, Scottish, and Native American. I try to learn as much as I can about my heritage and ethnic cultures because knowing the history of my people is very important to me. But I also want to learn about different cultures as well through travel and experience to understand the world better, because there is beauty in diversity.

In my spare time I love to exercise, sing, dance, spend time with my sorority sisters, write, and dream. I want to work to be the best version of myself through self love. I try to meditate, try new things, do things that scare me, and take time to be alone. I love spending time with my family because they are the most important in my life.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I will be traveling to Italy the first week of June to explore the beauty and culture of Italy. I have never used couch surfing before but I am very eager to create a fun cultural exchange by meeting new people. I have never traveled out of the country so this will be an interesting adventure. This will be a pre graduation present to myself for my graduation in December and I wanted to give myself a trip that will give me motivation and passion for my next season. I will be traveling to Italy with my good friend Amy Forestor to see the cities of Venice and Rome.

Couchsurfing allows travelers to meet new people with different cultural backgrounds to give new perspectives at a low cost, which is a blessing. The best way to learn about a culture is through the people of that culture so I am very excited to try this and hopefully use this more often for future trips.
