Hello all! I'm new to the Couchsurfing community but am no stranger to the thrill of traveling the world. I've stayed in homestays, hostels, bed and baths, and hotels but am looking to try something new.

Last semester I was abroad in Edinburgh, Scotland and got to travel all around the UK and mainland Europe. I'd love to share my stories, pictures and experiences from that semester with the world, and make some new memories in the process.

Some random facts:
I have a dog who thinks she's a cat.
I've owned lots of pets before: 4 birds, 6 fish, 2 guinea pigs, 1 hamster, 2 cats, 2 dogs, 2 hermit crabs, 1 lobster.
One of my friends is one of the thousand people who's been to all seven continents (yes, Antarctica -- twice). My family has traveled throughout the US and Asia, and they're always looking to go on another adventure.
My vocal range spans three octaves, but I can't hit the high notes on "Never Be the Same".
I love music and art in every form.
I'm studying computer science and am interested in a job in health or legal technology.

I'd love to come full circle with my traveling experiences by joining the Couchsurfing community!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm looking for a place to stay in Chicago in early August, since I'll be attending the ThinkChicago tech and innovation conference/music festival. If we have down time, I'd love to learn more about the Windy City, since this is my first time visiting.
