Overview
About Me
There are two of us! We are Molly and Alejandro and we are married world adventurers.
Molly: I study anthropology (PhD student!) and I cook for my b. That's most of me these days.
Alejandro: I dance salsa and eat Molly's food. I am from Guatemala and also speak Maya Ixil but Couchsurfing doesn't seem to think that's a language!

Music, Movies, and Books
Alejandro dances salsa! Molly tries to dance salsa. We like all the music.
Molly's favorite movie is Contact. Alejandro likes action movies and Star Wars.
Molly reads an enormous quantity of books, mostly about white supremacy and American racism and history. Alejandro reads books gifted to him by Molly.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Alejandro learned three languages and Molly got lost in the Lourve and goes door knocking in her neighborhood which is really hard for her!
Teach, Learn, Share
Alejandro can teach salsa and interesting words in Maya Ixil.
Molly can cook you deliciousness and can teach you some basic anthropological concepts and answer most of your weird questions about the United States that you're afraid to ask!
Molly would also like to learn to cook vegan food if anyone could teach her, it's too mushy for her taste usually.
And of course, we can give you tips on where to go and what to see in DC, both the touristy stuff and the actual interesting stuff that makes this city special, and possibly accompany you around if we've got time!
