Overview
About Me
I'm an easy-going, avid tea drinker and mozzarella stick enthusiast. I'm a recent college graduate from the University of Maine where I majored in Anthropology with minors in International Affairs and Peace & Reconciliation Studies. I'm passionate about social, economic, and environmental justice and hope to pursue a career in the non-profit sector in post-conflict and/or developing areas. I love laughing, smiling, and learning from people around the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's both the most affordable and preferable option. The most exciting and rewarding part of traveling for me is the connections I make with the local people. Couchsurfing provides that opportunity and would give me a better understanding of the local culture than the more touristy living arrangements.
Interests
I'm a very passionate person with many interests so I'll just list a few of my favorites: hiking, kayaking, star gazing, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, dancing (not very well), learning to play the ukulele, camping, being outside, reading, meeting new people and experiencing new places!
