New to this. BUT I am a pretty cool person, nonetheless.

I love food. I love to cook and bake and eat new exciting food from other cultures. I love to read and go to art museums and go dancing and hiking. Currently I am trying to learn more about myself by traveling and meeting people, taking risks, being outgoing, and trying new things.

LOVE LOVE LOVE to read. Favorites: Willa Cather, Steinbeck, Somerset Maugham, Bronte Sisters, Alice Munro, Dickens.

Music? Love traditional folk music, and classic blues, but I'm pretty all over the place. Rock n' roll! I love a good pop music dance session, and I've been to my fair share of punk and indie shows.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

In 2010 I taught English for a year to Mexican and Guatemalan immigrants through a local literacy organization--I met AMAZING people, learned so much, and had so much fun.

Another incredible thing I did recently? I helped to foster tiny baby orphaned kittens who needed to be fed by a bottle every few hours. They barely had their eyes open and now they are romping around and playing at five weeks old.
