Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Finally parked from nomad land, I am ready to host again! I have been hosted by lovely loving people for many nights of the last 6 months, and am back in share my space mode.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was living in a small town in OH when I joined CS and was too out of the way to get any surfers, but am now a practiced couchsurfer myself. I surfed several couches in Latinamerica this fall, made dear friends surfing in Seattle, and now with many lessons learned, I have a free couch again for you.

Interests

bees, guerrilla gardening, any gardening, thrift stores, coffee and more coffee, beverages, the color yellow, birds, sewing, dancing, bicycling, diners, the meaning of life, and fulfilling my 8 laughs a day quota

Music, Movies, and Books

Daisies (Sedmikrasky) is my favorite movie, the life I want, and my philosophy more or less on everything. Weetzie Bat and the whole series are my favorite books to go back to over and over again. On my travels I keep missing all my music like the Weepies, Tegan & Sara, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Bon Iver. I never get tired of Gillian Welch, and The Be Good Tanyas sing my happiness

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw capuchin monkeys on the beach in Cahuita National Park. Also I moved to Seattle without having seen it and without job prospects, which I now find quite amazing for lack of a better word.

Teach, Learn, Share

My favorite craft is making earrings out of bottlecaps, I´ve got the materials with me on my travels even and I´d love to share the secrets! I want to learn all about bicycles, and I´m still waiting for someone to really teach me to play guitar.
