ABOUT ME

I have a great curiosity of international cities and cultures. Right now, I live in Los Angeles where the weather and people are nice. I appreciate my friends and love making plans, big or small. I've seen so much of the US so I am currently working on expanding my view of the world and my place in it.

I think every person has an interesting story. I strive to find out what story that is for every person I meet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have traveled cross country in the US several times, staying at hostels, campgrounds and at friends of friends. It was amazing how generous and interesting people were, no matter where I was. It was inspiring to meet such great people and seeing very cool sites.

I love botanical gardens, playing board games, visiting odd museums, used music and bookstores, going to restaurants with prefixed menus, and Broadway musicals.

Muzyka, filmy i książki

I love power pop, '70s music, non-fiction books on sociology and public health, and mysteries. My all time favorite movies include Coal Miner's Daughter, The Right Stuff, Bring It On, and The Great Escape. I think reality television is quite compelling, especially The Amazing Race and Survivor.

I have been to 49 of the 50 states in the US. I unfortunately missed North Dakota. Driving through the southern Alps was breathtaking. Horseback riding in the Mexican jungle was fun if a little uncomfortable. Working on a ranch in Wyoming allowed me to visit some great US National Parks.
