Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I'm only surfing, as my girlfriend and I do not have a lot of space in our apartment. However, if you want to go for a coffee and see the great city of Kitchener (+awesome cheap food!), just send me an email!!
Also, very soon we will have enough space when we move into our new apartment. Just send me a request to see if we have moved yet, should be over the Christmas holiday (2009-2010).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

At this moment, no experience on CouchSurfing.org, but I have similar experience around Europe, all very positive!
In addition, I'm a big fan of hitchhiking as a means of everyday transportation. Most of my experience is in The Netherlands and Germany, but I have hitchhiked in Canada a bit!

Interests

I'm interested in everything that makes our oil- and energy centered world more environmentally aware. This includes running vehicles off vegetable oil, something I'm looking into a lot.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a large variety of music, a lot of 60s and 70s. Currently listening to the new album by Wolfmother, I enjoy it a lot.
I really like the books written by Aldous Huxley. I'm currently reading 'Brave New World Revisited', a very interesting book!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A great biking trip when I just turned 16, from London, GB, to Bristol and then to a small town in Cornwall. After that, all the way back to London along the South coast, AMAZING!
