Get the kids out of the house while I still have wits about me, and do EVERYTHING before I die.

ABOUT ME

I'm the kind of person who could live out of a suitcase the rest of my life and be happy. My gaggle of kids keep me pretty stationary though, I only take a couple of trips a year. I am a mosaic artist, chef and gardener, but none of those things pay the bills.

We own a farmlette (5 acres) and are learning to be self sufficient. It's definitely a work in progress. We always have a new project going on at the farm.

I have never couch surfed before, but I have always enjoyed meeting new people while traveling, so this sounds amazing.

Being Texans we like country music. But also 90s grunge rock, hard rock, John Mayer, the blues. Really, we just enjoy music.

Don't watch too many movies or much TV. We like comedies or thrillers when we do have the time.

Books: Stephen King, Game of Thrones, Lonesome Dove, Water for Elephants, Douglas Adams. Really way too many to list, we are avid readers.

We know how to grow our own food, build a barn, bake our own bread, sail (sort of... We own a sailboat)
