About Me

CURRENT MISSION

become a spanish and swedish speaking permaculturalist bicycle mechanic

ABOUT ME

I like to listen, and to talk. I like to find things, create things and I try not to loose things...I wish to meet people and share in all senses of the word.

I finished my BA at the end of 2011, and now I am taking a break.
I have travelled a little, but would like to travel a lot.
I am vegetarian, I enjoy cooking, eating chili, drainking tea, riding bikes, dreaming, getting up early, doing yoga, jogging, gardening (I am interested in all things to do with Permaculture).
I like to discuss the world and engage with people, but I also like time alone. I'm not much of a partier and I prefer conversation over dancing and outrageous drinking, although sometimes that is called for.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

One Amazing Thing I've Done

I once rode a bicycle down the worlds most dangerous road in Bolivia...and I'd do it again.

I also taught English in Luang Prabang, Laos for two weeks in December 2011.

Travelled to Turkey and had a time of my life. Found peace and mountain climbing in Eğirdir by a frozen lake.

Worked in this place: https://www.helpx.net/host.asp?hostid=763
And found peace amongst the birds, trees and bees in lower Saxony.

Stayed at Neverland in Istanbul in January 2012

Worked at the Makvärket collective in Denmark!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
How to knit and crochet
How to sew
How to cook with out a recipe (vegetarian particularly. I'll give you a tofu experience you'll never forget!)
A general outline of permaculture.
Basic Yoga
How a chocolate cake is also just a salad
How to pack light for a holiday and fit everything in a suitcase.
How to ride a bicycle
How to do your hair like it's 1949

Learn:
I believe that we're always learning, and lessons can be learned from anyone and everyone.

I'd love to learn how to do cryptic crosswords, card tricks and different ways to open beer bottles. I need to work on my esoteric skills.

What I Can Share With Hosts

An anecdote, a meal, a toothbrush, a taxi ride, a place to sleep, a drink, a moment, a smile...life is better when one shares most things.

Countries I've Visited

Bolivia, Croatia, Cuba, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Laos, Netherlands, New Zealand, Peru, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, United Kingdom

Countries I've Lived In
